Graphic art

The graphic work of Fritz Griebel is further evidence of the artist’s multiple talents. It includes townscapes, landscapes, representations of human figures, still lifes and abstract compositions. The techniques employed are pencil drawings, sanguines and watercolour drawings as well as lithographs. Griebel also created a number of book illustrations inspired by the silhouette technique.
